| Description: | My client is one of the UK's leading highways companies. They manage, maintain and improve thousands of kilometres of motorways and truck roads and develop better local transport services. Located in Watford, they are seeking to appoint an assistant engineer with energy and drive to bring to their successful division. As assistant engineer you will help design and deliver a whole range of projects aimed at improving highways. Acting as the key contact for one of our senior engineers, you will produce construction documents and help with the day-to-day management of projects. You will produce technical drawings, carry out research and monitor their on-site progress. You will need to have worked on similar projects and be educated to at least 'A'-level or HND standard. You will ideally have good MS Project and Autocad skills along with a drivers license. A competitive salary with a very attractive benefits package is offered.
