| Description: | My client is the largest private partnership of consulting engineering in the UK, working from 15 principle offices and employing 500 staff in total. They have opportunities for significant expansion to meet the strong impetus for growth within their commercial, retail, education and healthcare sectors. They have experience and expertise in a number of disciplines including structures, rail, geotechnics, highways, drainage and traffic. Their practise has recently relocated to modern open plan offices which include a restaurant and free staff parking close to their town centre, Watford. The location also offers a mainline railway station and easy access to the M1 and M25 motorways. As Senior Engineer you will have a minimum of 5 years experience with an aspiration to gain chartership status. Experience in drainage design with a working knowledge of the UK design standards is essential, together with the ability to carry out flood risk assessments, drainage modelling and balance several projects to meet project timetables. You should have private sector experience and practical knowledge of PDS or similar, together with Microdrainage and Autocad. An appreciation for Hecras would be advantageous. You would be encouraged to manage projects, attend meetings and liaise with clients, design teams and third party Representatives.
