| Description: | A Project Architect is required to work within the practice on their own projects, as well as part of a team. Preferably a minimum of two years post qualification experience is required, although Part 3 applicants would also be considered. Salary dependent upon experience. you will need to:- - be passionate about the potential of design to make a difference in people's lives - take projects from an early stage to completion; - have excellent design and production drawing skills, with a clear and efficient style; - be able to work individually or as part of a team; - work on several projects at different stages simultaneously; - communicate well both verbally and in writing. - develop a role in the management of the practice with a view to being an associate They use Microstation v8 and when it matters, drawings are produced by hand. They offer the chance to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from school buildings, high quality private houses with Ecological and Sustainability aspirations, community projects and listed buildings - working with oak framing and other natural materials wherever possible. |
